One of my favorite things to do is shopping for newborn clothes. They are so small and precious. Our babies grow so quickly, glands so my philosophy is to adorn them in the cutest clothes possible before they get an opinion of their own and only want to wear pajamas all day long. (My six year old would live in her pj’s if I’d let her.)
So don’t delay. Get these baby clothes before they are gone! They are great for shower gifts too.

I received a complementary copy of The Fire Driven Life for review purposes. However, and all opinions stated here are my own.
If you’ve been following my blog for any length of time, shop you know that I love to cook and try healthy new recipes. I received a review copy of Vanessa Chamberlin’s new book The Fire Driven Life and was quickly drawn in by the beautiful photography and easy to follow flow of the book. Food is more than just fuel to Vanessa. She says, gastritis “…I began to see every healthy meal as a statement of self-love. Simply put, I recognized that I loved myself enough to pursue the highest level of self-care. This was a life-changing revelation for me.” Vanessa believes that nutrition is the foundation of well-being. She calls her food philosophy the PlantFire diet – every healthy meal and snack reinforces your love for yourself and that “from there, you can continue to strengthen and build on this new foundation in other aspects of your life.” The book is organized well and contains not only details on her vegan eating plan, but guidance on food shopping, exercise, stress management and more. It’s a well-rounded lifestyle plan.
Since I eat hummus almost every day, I made the Red Roasted Pepper Hummus. It was easy (whipped it up in my Vitamix) and delicious. Even though I will probably NEVER be a vegan, there are several other recipes in the book that I look forward to trying out — especially the Holiday Brussels Sprouts made with cranberries and walnuts.
So if you are looking for a new vegan cookbook or lifestyle plan, I suggest you check out The Fire Driven Life. (link www.VanessaChamberlin.com)
