Last Minute Mother’s Day Gift Idea (and Giveaway!)

Rejuvenation Clinic Day Spa gift card

Disclosure: This post is sponsored by Rejuvenation Clinic Day Spa. They hosted me and four other influencers on April 20th to lunch, tour of their place and a free service – but all opinions here are my own.

Mother’s Day is a week from Sunday, and I still haven’t gotten anything for my mom. I’ve thought about it. I’ve had good intentions. But, honestly, I’ve been so consumed with work/kids/house/life to just do it. My May has already been packed: got a new dishwasher after my old one flooded the kitchen floor, took kids to two doctor’s appointments, helped with Teacher Appreciation Week at their school, hosting a Wildtree workshop at my house tomorrow night, and getting Maya ready for the Mini Maker Faire to promote her art (ALL DAY next Saturday … OUTSIDE). So needless to say, Mother’s Day hasn’t even been on my radar. Continue reading “Last Minute Mother’s Day Gift Idea (and Giveaway!)”

Last Minute Christmas Gifts (and giveaway!)

Pop Pop Shoppe

This post is sponsored by Pop Pop Shoppe, but all opinions here are my own.teacher cookie printable

Without fail, every December I wait until the last minute to buy Christmas gifts for everyone besides my kids. (They always get clothes because KIDS GROW.) I did however remember teacher gifts in advance this year (hallelujah!). Since I have three kids at home now with 12 teachers between them, I went the cheap-but-yummy route with four homemade cookies per teacher wrapped in clear little bags and a “teachery” printable I found on Pinterest.

But alas, Christmas is just around the corner, and there are people that I want to give a little something-something without spending a fortune  — like the postman who braves the crazy Arkansas weather six days a week to bring us the mail or my sweet friend down the street who will come over in her jammies for a glass of wine just to hear me moan about life or catch up on our busy days. Luckily a new shop recently opened in Midtown Little Rock called the Pop Pop Shoppe.

Pop Pop Shoppe

Pop Pop Shoppe is located in the Park Avenue Plaza next to Target. The owners started with a store in Texarkana, TX, and just opened this Little Rock location back in October. They offer fresh, high-quality gourmet popcorn along with specialty foods like fudge and cinnamon-sugar almonds. But their assortment of popcorn is what makes this store so much fun! I mean, who doesn’t want to sample more than 25 flavors of popcorn ranging from plain butter to “cornferno”?!?!

Right now they have gourmet popcorn gift baskets already made up, so all you have to do is stop by and buy a few. Their prices are super reasonable too.

They also have specialty tins if you have a sports fan or just want a jumbo tin of popcorn. They can fill it with any of the flavors. Pop Pop Shoppe

If you’re out Christmas shopping (or really anytime you are near University and Markham in Little Rock), you should stop by and get a bag of “Hot n Yummy” Chicago-style popcorn (a combo of the cheddar and caramel popcorn). IT IS SO GOOD.Pop Pop Shoppe

Another cool thing that they do is fundraisers for schools and non-profits— and they make it really fun and easy. For more info on their fundraisers, check out their website or give them a call.

#ASweetPairing: Chocolate and Wine Valentine’s Giveaway

This post is sponsored by Ghirardelli and Josh Cellars, order but all views expressed here are my own. chocolate Chocolate and wine are two of my favorite things. I would guess that’s true for most women that I know. My friends and I have been known to have Pop Up Parties with nothing more than a few bottles of wine, medic a table of sweet treats, easy conversation and lots of laughter. When I think of how to spend this Valentine’s Day, this is what comes to mind. (Sorry husband.)

So I was thrilled when approached to promote Ghirardelli’s Valentine’s chocolates and Josh Cellars wine. Ghirardelli’s dark chocolate with sea salt caramel and the red blend by Josh Cellars are two of my favorites. Now I have another reason to love them: they’ve given me two $75 American Express prepaid gift cards to give away to two of my readers!

Reebok is giving me a pair of Reebok FuryLite Shoes to give away to one of my readers!

My friends know that I love to wear athletic shoes. I’m too old to care about trendy high heels. It’s all about comfort these days! So I’m super pumped about my new Reebok FuryLite shoes. Reebok has done an impressive job with their FuryLite shoes. Descended from the iconic Reebok Insta Pump Fury, disinfection this fashion-forward sneaker combines cutting-edge architectural elements and sleek design. The synthetic mesh upper offers breathable, lightweight, full-foot comfort and the low-cut design makes for quicker foot transitions and ankle freedom. And I love the 3D Ultralite outsole. It creates a cloud-like feel with each strike of the pavement.

Reebok has made four new updates to the FuryLite, taking the sneaker staple to a new level:
