Stacey Valley, MPH, BSN, RN
I’m a wife to Anthony (@akvalley, Twitter superhero); mother to two by adoption and two by marriage. I’m a nurse by training, but recently moved into teaching high school. My life is quite beautifully ordinary and at the same time more than I could have ever imagined. I adore this real-life modern family, and luckily Anthony loves my kind of crazy. My goal is to use this blog to express my feelings, share photos, recipes, and occasionally rant about the craziness of juggling motherhood, marriage, and making a living. I dream of moving to Italy one day, so I often binge on House Hunters International. My life’s motto is “Live big. Love deep.” because life can be hard sometimes, but it can also be awesome if you just dive in head first.
“To laugh often and much…to find the best in others…to leave the world a bit better, whether by a healthy child, a garden patch or a redeemed social condition…to know one life has breathed easier because you have lived – this is to have succeeded.” ~correct attribution unknown
In 2013, I founded this blog to chronicle the adventures of my newly-formed, interracial, blended family. Live Big. Love Deep. features stories about adoption, family, race relations, food, travel, education and shopping. Thank you for coming along my journey.
My social media influencer work includes national brands such as Nestle, Bush’s Baked Beans, and Ghirardelli, as well as local/regional entities like the City of Little Rock’s Creative Corridor, McDonald’s of Central Arkansas, PediSand and The Clinton Presidential Center. I am a recurring contributor to the First Security Bank blog, Only in Arkansas. Samples of my writing can be found at staceyvalley.contently.com. I would love to work with you, so contact me and let’s discuss!
My blog’s demographic is largely female (75%) and from the United States (89%). The age of my readers varies with the largest chunk (58%) falling in the 25-44 year old range.
